Comment s'y rendre ?

Thomas Schütte is one of today’s most important artists. His artistic practice centers on watercolors, drawings, wooden constructions and models, as well as installations. His most significant group of works are his monumental sculptures – up to six meters high – cast in bronze or steel, which will also be populating Bregenz’s public spaces, and will include a dragon snorting out steam. This grotesque creature, situated on Karl-Tizian-Platz in front of Kunsthaus Bregenz, is one of three colossal sculptures to be erected in public spaces for his summer exhibition at KUB in Bregenz. In 2005 he was represented at the Venice Biennale, in 1987 at documenta 8, and in 1997 at documenta X in Kassel. In 2020 a retrospective is being dedicated to him at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Summer opening hours: July and August, daily 10 am - 8 pm; regular opening hours Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am - 6 pm, Thursday, 10 am - 8 pm
