E T A J artist-run space invites you to visit the solo show of the artist Silvia Trăistaru “Tender Drawings About Love and Life”, in their space in George Enescu Street no. 43, et. 1, Bucharest, starting with July 17 until July 30, 2022, only by appointment at: silvia.traistaru@gmail.com

“Tender drawings about Love and Life” is the title of a set of text based works - words / sentences, modeled with textures and hatches in the pencil and marker technique on paper, which presents recent practices and approaches of Silvia Trăistaru (2021-ongoing). The drawings explore areas of the subconscious and analyze life situations in its own therapeutic way (as a way it instinctively approaches the innerwise method), using the complexity and influence of the specific consequences of memories but also of transgenerational memory. The project speaks tenderly about a matter of the mind, but also of the heart.

Some of the works of “Tender Drawings” were exhibited at the end of May., in the artist's studio within the Malmaison Studios (Bucharest), in the weekend “Open doors II”, a biannual program to visit the studios, galleries and project spaces of the Malmaison community. For the opening of the L I G H T space in Stuttgart on June 19, 2022, Silvia created a new corpus of works that completed the series "Tender Drawings about Love and Life". The exhibition can be visited until August 22. “My thoughts become visible through the Words. Words reveal everything about Love. Every thought has an electromagnetic emission and every feeling / emotion is energy.” Silvia Trăistaru

E T A J is an artist-run space, an independent and self-sustaining initiative, a catalyst aimed at the efficiency of the contemporary artistic object in the local context. Organizes collective events, solo shows, artist talks, workshops or performances through a series of “one night show” exhibitions where each artist is given total freedom, the project becoming a run space artist with an experimental curatorial format. . Several artists have grouped together in the idea of forming a cultural cell, in their approach, but also in the relationship between them there is no conventional pattern. Whether it is a group exhibition, personal exhibition or other events initiated here, the principles of artistic practice and a sense of authenticity are what guide the collective actions started at E T A J.
