Heilige und Asketen – Miniaturmalerei der Jaina aus Indien RJM

The exhibition is a presentation of a valuable donation of Jain miniatures from several eras and geographically different regions, such as Gujerat and Rajputan. It shows exemplarily the style development in Jain painting between 1375 and 1620 by means of illuminated manuscript pages from Kalpasutra and Kalakacharya-Katha.
