SEA Foundation proudly presents new work by Australian artist Sally Tape, in her first exhibition in Europe. Tape created new paintings in which she reflects on the physical space of architecture and contemporary screen culture. The images represent abstracted images that are seen in a split second while travelling through a cityscape, or while scrolling through a social media feed. The audience actively perceives works, walking and 'scrolling'. The tension between form, structure and movement, or, between architecture and people, is a central theme in Tape's oeuvre.

Sally Tape lives and works in Melbourne, Australia. In the past 12 years her work has been shown throughout Australia. She works on public contracts for in-situ work in public space, mainly murals. Her oeuvre also includes paintings, collages, drawings and sculptures. In 2017 she won the Knox City Council Art Prize. Tape studied at Monash University, where she obtained her BA in 2006.
